Monetum was a main sponsor for the kick-off event of the Swiss Association of Crypto Investors in Lugano that took place on April 4th. The Swiss Association of Crypto Investors (SACI) is a non-profit association created in response to the increasing role that the blockchain technology plays in the Swiss economy and whose aim is to foster the growth of the blockchain ecosystem mainly but not exclusively in Switzerland.
The event had a rich agenda for the participants attending, with discussion panels featuring the industry’s most prominent leaders and executives. The kick-off event by SACI offered educational discussions such as ‘’Best practices for custody solutions for retail investors’’ by Julian Truniger the CEO Bitconsult and ‘’Taxation Guideline’’ by Leonardo Cavalleri, the Director of World Trade Centre Lugano. Followed by a discussion panel and networking apero.
Associations like SACI are a unified voice for the crypto industry and are the pivotal point of reference for creating a broader, coordinated community. Such associations aim to collectively advocate and educate and make a commitment to broaden and enrich the knowledge and expertise of its members in crypto investments and blockchain technologies. By supporting the research and studies promoting the inter-disciplinary collaboration among organizations and associations that share a mutual goal.
